I am going to showcase a great band that you probably never heard of or that I feel is underexposed.

This months band is Sublime. Formed in 1988, their mix of punk, funk, rock, rap, and raggae is something that has to be heard to be appreciated. Their major label self-titled debut, Sublime, was released in 1996 and is incredibly good. Unfortuately, on May 25, 1996, their lead singer, Bradley James Nowell died of a drug overdose. His visionary music will be missed, but the music he made is something to hold on to.
