Right before this song, there is some hilarius interview footage. The interviewer asks Noel if he has any memories of being up on stage. Noel says, "I remember trying to get Our Kid to shut up rumbling complete and utter gibberish!" Then it cuts to some stage footage which goes like this:
Liam: Me and our kid, we like, love each other by now. Noel: I fuckin' hate him, he's a prick... Liam: Oh we do, honest to God- Noel: He's a prick- Liam: And all this bullshit about fighting is all a load of lies Noel: ...he's a twat- Liam: Me an' him... Noel: ...and he's a bald twat Liam: Love each other! We do honestly.
So then, Noel says, "This one's called Champagne Super-ugly-cunt!" Liam gets very happy, diplays his happiness, then goes up to the mic and says, "Champagne Supernova!"
So anyway, this song is really good as well. Although, it is quite different from the Album version. Liam stresses his prononciation of the words, "High." and "Summer" in a way that kind of sounds like a cross between anger and drunkeness(If you saw Oasis perform at the MTV music awards show, you know what I mean). The instrumental part after Liams second, "Why, why why why?" is shorter than the album version, but the ending instrumental part is much longer than the Album version. The ending is at least 2 and a half minutes long. During this time(since he doesn't have much else to do) Liam jumps down to a lower level of the stage, looks about the audience, points at someone in the audience, looks about the audience some more, tries to grab a camera, then jumps back onto the main stage and sits in a corner while "playing" his tamboring. All in all, an interesting display.
