My music taste developed pretty rapidly. I was not
a huge music fan when I was in grade school; I listened to almost anything
that was available. In high school, probably because of the dorm-life,
I was pushed towards the rock line, which I am still on, also expanded
by some other styles, like techno, rap, disco and some pop. This diversity
was in my opinion useful for me, because it widened my music horizon a
lot. By the time I was a sophomore in high school, I was pretty much the
biggest Nirvana fan in the school, which was quite popular by then. Parallel
to this, I was also listening to some other 70's band, like Deep Purple,
Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and many American rock bands too. And then
I got into this alternative music stuff, which I think is good and could
be a major style if the term was not used for some other crap music too.
I did get into some harder styles, as a matter of fact, like heavy metal
and others, and I think those are cool. This is pretty much where I am
now: a little bit of everything, and with hard rock on the top.
