Neureka is a high-level object-oriented language for Windows platforms. Its primary purpose is aiding programmers to create applications in a rapid fashion, but also provide a set of low-level programming features to enable them to use the language in all aspects of programming.
Neureka is part of the Genius project that aims at developing math-related programs. Neureka offers math features that no other programming language does, such as numbers of any level of significance, exact ratios, built in support for matrices, etc.
The shareware version of Neureka, which is also available for download here, gives you access to the basic editor features and the interpreter itself. You also can set a few options regarding security for your programs, such as password-protection or read-only seals. The interpreter is not optimized, and performs roughly 30-50 percent slower than the interpreter offered in the registered version that is pictured above.
In the shareware package, you will also receive a converter program that creates executable files that either depend on only a .DLL file (the main run-time library) and are very small in size, or executable files that do not depend on any other files and can be distributed as a stand-alone application, but are much bigger in size. The executable files created with this program are only editable (if not protected, or sealed read-only) in the registered version.
The registered version offers you a completely optimized interpreter, the extended converter program, a source-code launcher program that has no editing capabilities, and a fully functional and complete help system.
