My story is rather interesting. I lived in Hungary until
my senior year in high school, when I had the chance to come to the US
to spend an academic year. So I did, and finally graduated from a US high
school in Diamond, MO. Not the biggest class in the history of mankind,
I can say; there were only 44 people (including me) in my graduating class.
After graduation I enrolled at Missouri Southern State College, where I
received the Honors Scholarship, which pays for my tuition and makes my
life easy. You can ask: are you a US citizen now? Well, no I am not. I
am a proud Hungarian who is visiting in this country. I normally go home
to Hungary in the summers, and for Christmas. Otherwise I am quite Americanized,
I mean in the good sense of the word. I like to visit different places,
and I love to drive. You can guess the next step: yes, I bought a car.
A Buick Century, not the best but works well enough to get me to whatever
place I might have in my mind. It is usually a movie theather, or the Mall.
Sometimes, when the weather and my wallet allow me, I go further too. I
would like to visit New Mexico, Utah, and some other states at the end
of the school year, sometime before I leave for Hungary again.
And here is the end of the story, here is where I am now. Hm, what else? I hate to write general stuff, so I rather quit.
Ok, did I talk about my friends? Well, I guess not. Let's see them!
iLLEGAL , alias Akos Zalavary : We grew up together. He also lives in the same town I live, that is Kiskunlachaza in Pest county (Do you like the name? - Try to pronounce it! It is easy if you are Hungarian). He is my computer-buddy, we kinda competed for a long time, and ended up spending much of our time together on different computer stuff. He goes to the Technical University of Budapest (TUB, or BME). Good luck with your exams!
Tamas Elek, the Master of Orion : He is kinda weird. We are drinking friends, because both of us love beer. I got to know him in high school, even though we met in a programming competition in grade school. He is from Szigethalom. He knows all kinds of tricks how to cheat on people, and there is no way somebody can get money out of him if he did not have a ticket on the HEV. Oh yes, and he goes to Kando Kalman Technical College in Budapest.
Marton Bodor, the Doctorandus : He always screws up something, like a plus instead of a minus sign, or reads the problems wrong, and things like this. He is a horrible speller, but he is getting better at it (He sat next to me in high school). He is gonna be a doctor, he knew this from the very beginning. He went to different first-aid competitions, and also worked for the ambulance. Good luck with your exams !
Laszlo Berthoty (Richard) : He is a pianist. One day he is gonna be very famous for his talent in playing the piano. He recorded several tapes so far, nevertheless, he was in the school band (he played the piano of course) too. He used to be in my class, but he went to a music high school after the first year. The way to success is hard but is worth it.
the ex-4.G (the Kings) at the Batthyany Kazmer Gimnazium, Szigetszentmiklos; among them: Balazs Mellar (Balage), Peter Gyuros (Gyurci), Roland Szoboszlay (Uborka), Bence Fazakas, Tibor Talas (Nyalas), Jozsef Osko (Oskoba), Attila Kovacs, and lots of others. : these all are the best class ever existed on the face of the Earth. We "destroyed" (absorbed?) millions of gallons of beer, but who cares. We spent our high school years together, and we were in all good and bad together. God bless us all!

Designing programming languages (interpreters) : Programming languages always made me curious about a lot of things. Why are there a lot of languages? What is the difference between them? Which is better, or more efficient? Why? After a while, I was really in this kind of stuff, and started to work on different BASIC implementations, and later on my own language-inventions. One of these is GENIUS , most certainly my best shot at writing a new language.
Playing the guitar (check out my own TAB files) : I started playing the guitar when I went to high school. I lived in the dorms on the weekdays, and I had nothing else to do than learning how to play the guitar. I bought a cheap electric guitar from a senior, who played in the school band and wanted to sell his old guitar. I learnt some chords, and I was ready to do more. A year after this, I bought an acoustic guitar too. I got so fond of my new acoustic guitar, that I sold my electric guitar, and only played on the acoustic one. This was going on for a while, but during my stay in the US, I managed to buy a Fender Stratocaster with all kinds of neat stuff on it, and since then nothing can sepatate me from it. I started writing songs about 4 years ago, and since then I mostly write songs instead of copying other people's stuff.
Travelling, meeting interesting people Since I grew up in Europe, I was part of something extraordinary, namely that I could witness several cultures while I was growing up, for countries with different cultures are so close to each other, and on the other hand, I travelled a great amount with my parents. I was in most South, Western, and Central-European countries, and the much travelling resulted in a constant demand for wanting to know more and more about things.
Learning languages (yeh, I wish) I soon realized that it is hard to live without another language. Specially in Europe, where everything is so different and diverse. Thanks to our educational system, I was objected to many languages while carrying my studies. I started with Russian, which was mandatory at the time, later joined by German. By the beginning of high school I had five years of Russian, and four years of German experience. Unfortunately, I had to stop taking these two languages, but I was glad to start two others: Latin and English. Three years later I managed to take a successful language exam in English (middle level), and after the senior year that I spent in the US, I obtained the certificate of English at advanced level.
Swimming Every time we go somewhere in the summer, we visit some South-European countries. Given the geographical location of those countries, by doing this I have the opportunity to live for my 'diving' desires. Looking for different sea-animals on the bottom of the sea is awesome. Hearing the roaming waves above you while you are in the safe deeps is an experience that you want to live through every time you see the vast dimensions of a sea.
My Favourite Bands
(To go to the official homepage click on the
band)
Nirvana , OffSpring , Foo Fighters , Stone Temple Pilots , Filter, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Deep Purple , Black Sabbath , Led Zeppelin
I just recently have heard about Grand Funk RailRoad , and I kinda like them too. The more I listen to them the more I like them. Try them if you like rock...
(Email me if you have any sort of Grand Funk RailRoad music material. I need their old LPs, original version if possible. Thanks in advance.)

PROLOG - Artificial intelligence in programming
GENIUS (a programming language designed by me) : An interpreted programming language that offers great speed and many new features under Windows 3.0, 3.1, or Win95.
NEUREKA (a programming language designed by me) : An AI programming language, written in C++. I am currently working on vastly improving it. Works like PROLOG, but uses fuzzy logic and neuron-networks, too.
PHOBOS - A graphical window-oriented system for building programs. This is a Pascal package for programmers who want to utilize the usefulness of windows, and simple multitasking.
