When Glenn Danzig first met American Records founder Rick Rubin at one of the New Music Festivals in New York, he thought he was one of the members of the group ZZ Top. Rick Rubin liked their performance earlier that day so much, he signed to his label. A year earlier at the same festival he had signed Slayer to his label. This 1988 classic features such greats as "Twist of Cain", "Am I Demon", and the original "Mother".
