WE WON!Thank you ALL for coming out to Milestones and voting for us in the first round of the Rochester's Most Popular Band Contest on July 7th! We won by a landslide: 64 votes to 17!!! The show was a tremendous success and by winning we have secured a spot in the second round of the contest! As soon as the details of that show become known to me I will post them below in the Shows section. We thank each and every one of you for all your support!!! Good luck goes out to The Groove Brothers in their future performances.
FMPins!Hey everyone! We now have FMGreen Pins! The art for the pins was done by Old-School FMGreen Friend Joe Acello! THANKS JOE! You can see a picture of what they look like by clicking HERE. (note that the pins are actually only 1" big, not large like the picture, but they are still very rad!) We will be selling the pins for 50 cents a piece. Return postage included! 100% Geekrock - Best Summer Ever Tour 2001 this is one show you DO NOT want to miss! *SNMNMNM hasnt played a show in rochester since they moved to LA nearly 2 years ago! they are by far the greatest geekrock band (and quite possibly the greatest band period) ever to come out of this town. check out their website for more info on them. *popbandALICE is a geekrock outfit hailing from burbank, california. these folks produce some fantastic music. they are not to be missed! *Kick Me Kate is another geekrock ensemble. they come from Florida, but we wont hold that against them cause their music still kicks ass!!! These three bands are touring across the country throughout July and SNMNMNM was kind enough to invite FMGreen to play with them at Javas when they stop in Rochester. We are honored to have been asked by this amazing band to play a show with them. This has the makings to be one of the best shows of the summer so be sure to check it out!!! |

FMGreen in the Studio!! We came, We saw, We rocked. On January 2nd and 3rd we went into GFI Studios in nearby Ontario, NY. Over the course of those 2 days we recorded, mixed, and mastered 3 songs; those songs were: Lipstick, Run, and 4:05 We have named the FMDemo: are you recording me? Much thanks to Saby Kulkarni who engineered our sessions and also helped us with the production! How he managed to put up with us for 10 hours each day still boggles our minds. I plan on making a page with some pictures from the studio as well as a small tour log of what went on while we were there. Keep your eyes open for a link to that page right here! We are VERY pleased with the results and we hope that you all will feel the same way. ...which brings me to the next order of business... If you would like your very own copy of the are you recording me? FMDemo CD: Please email me at fmgreen@i.am. For only $5 I will mail you a copy of the CD! That price includes packaging and postage.
