Chapter Five - Could It Be That We're Meant To Be? Grace was deeply involved in a conversation with Andrew. They were discussing past lovers and joking about Grace's lack of a sex life. "Oh God! He was a terrible, terrible person!" Grace laughed, "I can't believe it took me till the second date to notice it!" "Nah! That's nothing! This one girl I went out with asked me to convert to Catholicism on the third date!" Andrew informed her. "She had no respect for my religion!" "I know how it is. At least you are something close to her religion. Most people greatly misunderstand Wicca," Grace told him, "They think it's evil but we don't even believe in a devil! People can be so ridiculous!" She paused, "I had to leave my coven to do this. They told me I could return as a priestess if I chose to, but I kinda think it's time I move on. You know?" Andrew nodded, "Yeah, I know. I should call Tara, she probably misses me . . ." There was a knock at the door. "I'll get it," Grace volunteered. She opened the door. "Howie!" "Hi," He smiled warmly, "What's up?" "Oh not much - Have you met Andrew? We're room mates ," Grace explained. She thought she might like to have a relationship with Howie and he seemed interested. She always tried to be incredibly open in relationships, so she wanted to get any misunderstandings out of the way, right away! Howie waved to him. "Of course! He's in the dance finale." Howie paused, "Uh - How did you two become roommates?" "There was a mix up," Grace explained, she leaned closer and lowered her voice, "But I'm not worried. He already has a girlfriend, whom he loves very much." Howie's face filled with relief. He decided to cut to the chase. "Grace, I was wondering if you'd like to have dinner with me tonight . . ." Her face lit up. "I'd love to!" "Great! We'll be with the other guys . . . if that's okay . . ." Howie added. "Of course, it's okay!" Grace assured him, "They're probably as sweet as you!" Howie laughed, "Who knows? Does 6:00 sound okay?" "Perfect!" She replied.
