Great site. I'm a huge BB fan. My interest in them originated in or around 1995 when I bought a Greatest Hits album. Since then I have read just about every book written about them and have bought original records such as Pet Sounds, which I love. I find
he life of the Beach Boys, and Brian Wilson in particular, amazing. They have such interesting life stories, and being a writer I find this intriguing.
And, yes I am aware that the Beach Boys aren't just surf music. I saw a site recently dedicated entirely to them, and in a short bio is written how they are "simply put, entirely about surf music." The site went on to criticize Brian Wilson for various th
ngs, then stated that he was the guitar player in the band.
I really wish people would get facts straight sometimes...

new album this year. Where is the new MB album?
Some critic once called America a CSN imatation.

I liked Patric Moraz's keyboards when he was
in the MB (song: Meanwhile).
I like Fleetwood Mac, but one of my favorites
by them is "Sentimental Lady" when Bob Welsh
was in the band. Of course it was a big solo
hit for him later.

Just to let you know that I am one of those die-hard fans you mentioned in your nice PG area.
Tony Levin went to the famous Eastman School of Music in my hometown of Rochester, NY.
Tony is a HUGE hero to Rochester. Because of TL's special relationship to Rochester, PG starts EVERY American Tour in my hometown!
I have been a PG fan since 1980. I have probably been a fan longer than you have been alive (God, do I feel old!). Anyhoo, if you like PG you may want to give a listen to Kate Bush (especially her "Hounds of Love" CD); King Crimson (a side-band that Tony
Levin is a founding member; their "Discipline", "Blue" and "Three of Perfect Pair" albums are quite tasty); and for kind of different experience, Manu Dibango (his "Wakafrica" CD has a very cool version of "BIKO" with PG doing vocals).
