Robert Lamm...  It's not really a household name, but most of us have grown up hearing his music, unaware of the man behind it.  Robert has been a key member of the band Chicago since its "beginnings".  He wrote the large majority of the songs on the first few albums, and has contributed unique songs to each album. Robert is one of my favorite musicians and also has a great influence on my songwriting. He has written hundreds of songs,  including many staples in the world of rock and roll.
Its easy to see Robert's musical side, but his personality is quite complex.  I do not personally know him, but I have met Robert several times. He can be very friendly and outgoing, but he can also be downright rude to his fans. He has made very compassionate statements, yet also a few infamous coldhearted words. Apparently, Robert prefers to maintain his privacy and distance from his fans. That is definitely his right, but as a result, it is hard to find information about Robert Lamm. Sure, you can find tons of Chicago web pages, but Robert alone? Rarely. That's why I am attempting to put together an all Robert web page, so that new and maybe even old fans can better understand this very talented man and his music. I don't know much about his personal life, but what really matters is that we enjoy the music he creates.
