As is usually the case, most artists who appear on Top of the Pops mime their performance,
and Oasis' two-song set is no exception. Who Feels Love? is run through for future broadcast.
After recording their slot tonight, Noel tells PA News:
"We're just getting back into it at the moment. "We've been rehearsing for months now and we
did the dates in America but playing live for the first time [on Later w/ Jools Holland] in Britain tomorrow will be good.
It's nothing that we've not been through before." As an aside, some may recall the band's performance On Top of the Pops in August 1995 for Roll With It when, as a gag, Liam and Noel switched places, putting Liam in the lead guitarists role. However, no such trickery takes place tonight,
and instead the band gives the songs their standard treatment.
