Spice Girls' Rule Book

The Spice Girls' Rule Book (they give it to you when you subscribe to their magazine) is just bursting with soo much Girl Power that I had to put it on my page. Here's what it says in the book:
Welcome to the Spice Movement! Firstly massive thanks to all the response we've had from you nutters out there - it's good to know we're not alone!
We take it you caught the vibe, like the spirit of our music, whatever the reason, we're glad. One way or another Spice Girls are on a mission and we want YOU to climb aboard. Spread the positive feeling into life - for God's sake, lets enjoy it!
Anyone can join our adventure, we're about fearless expression, just go for it man!!!!
We are very proud of our recent success - it's a sign of the times!! It's a reflection of the people's choice, it's such a good feeling to know you all feel and want the same as us.
GIRL POWER!! ENERGY & FUN!!
But on a serious note there is always a method in our madness and if you care to read between the lines, the message in our lyrics is strong and profound. All the songs we have ever written are based on our lives, just like yours.
SPICE GIRLS DO'S & DONTS!
Melanie B- DO tell him/her you fancy them, you've got nothing to lose. DON'T keep it to yourself and tell everyone apart from him/her. * DO be as outrageous & as mad as you possibly can, even if you're by yourself. DON'T keep your mentalness to yourself or be a recluse. * DO be proud of your race & colour, it's who you are. DON'T deny your roots or try to fit in. * DO get mullered if you want to. DON'T blame it on anyone else. * DO dare to get pierced or tattooed or fake it with a transfer. DON'T do it just to be in a gang or because you think you're hard.
Melanie C- DO take care of yourself and have fun. DON'T get down and push it too hard. * DO try and beat the boys at their own game. DON'T give it, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. * DO get a bike to get around, it's ecologically friendly and a great way to keep fit. DON'T be lazy, cars aren't that cool (only 'cos I can't drive). * DO eat a healthy balanced diet, & listen to your body. DON'T diet (it doesn't work)-don't forget your vitamins, it's the shape you're in not the shape you are. * DO exactly what you want to do, always. DON'T let anyone tell you otherwise.
Emma- DO listen to & trust your mum's advice-at the end of the day she's your best friend. DON'T always trust outside advice, they might not be on your side. * DO eat your doughnuts & sweets with pride. DON'T leave a mess. * DO have a boyfriend if he's worth it. DON'T let him take you for granted. * DO love yourself the way you are. DON'T change for anybody, just be who you wannabe. * DO shop in high street stores. DON'T give in to designer labels-they are the same as the high street but a zillion billion times more expensive.
Geri- Geri's Method In Madness: If you've got something to say, express it, better out than it, communication, conversation-but never be afraid of silence. * Your eyes are the windows to your soul, they hide nothing, so you can't beat that eye to eye contact. * Imagination-use it, it's pure escapism. * Looking for the answer? Ever in doubt? Follow you instinct-it's never wrong, take advice but make your own mistakes, no one else's. * Personality is like a muscle, use it a lot and it grows and improves. * Beauty doesn't last, rely on it and you become a cabbage from within.
Victoria- Victoria's Tips: Having a day off? Slap on the lipstick and a pair of shades. * If you're going to kiss a boy, make sure you're wearing your stay-on lipstick. * Extra glue on your false nails to save embarrassment. * Drink whatever coordinates with your nailvarnish. * If you haven't got it-fake it! Small? Wear big shoes, but make sure you can walk in them, strutt & hope for the best. * Problem with cheekbones? Blusher, blusher! Or suck them in like a supermodel. * Forget your designer labels, fight with grannies at the Jumble Sale or Oxfam. * Customise all old clothes, cut, stick on etc-use your imagination. * Want to break the ice? Have a wild guess at his name-you never know.
