Jane Lane

Jane is Daria's best - okay, only - friend. She's an artist, and 
she shares many of Daria's views of her classmates. She's more 
open to other people than Daria, and seems intent on getting 
Daria to ask Trent, her brother, out on a date. She paints with 
both hands, and seems to throw herself into painting when she's 
trying not to think about something. 

 Trent
 is her brother.She has a brother named Wind, who's thinking about getting married if he can figure out if his divorces were legal.She has a sister named Penny, who's dissapointed with the Mexican job market, and will probably try Nicuragua next.She has a sister named Summer, who's kids ran away (but the Private Detectives have found 3 out of 4 of them)
Her mother's name is Amanda, and she's really into pottery and 
rap music
