THE NEW MILLENNIUM: They're baaa-aaack -- well, actually, they're the Backstreet Boys. Just in case anyone thought that Nick and the gang were merely one-album wonders, the boys from Orlando proved them wrong. After years of leaving us hanging, the Backstreet Boys finally released the follow-up to their 1997 self-titled album. Geeze, guys, it took ya long enough! Guess it's better late then never -- fans mobbed record stores on Tuesday, creating even more of a stir than last's week Ricky Martin stampede as they came to pick up Millennium. If selling 27 million records already -- plus amassing even more fans -- isn't enough to prove the boys are a force to be reckoned with, Puffy came along to cinch the deal. The ubiquitous P-Diddy dropped by the BSB record release party on Tuesday and snuggled up to Nick Carter and Kevin Richardson for some highly staged photo ops. Now, given Puffy's recent troubles and rapidly decreasing sales ... who do you think is milking off whom in this situation?
