I would like to start off this page with my own story:

Hospitality Point, San Diego, CA - June 27, 1997

My friend and I were waiting for the show to start. It was a picturesque setting. The concert was on the San Diego Bay. My friend and I were sitting on the rocks by the water which was right next to the backstage area, which was a fenced in area visible to anyone. We were watching the meet & greet and noticed it was winding down. My friend (obnoxiously I might add) was trying to get Geoff's attention. When everyone dispersed backstage Geoff and Scott were talking and I presumed it was about whether Geoff had enough time to come over to the fence and talk to us. Like the gracious man he his, Geoff came over and talked to about 6 of us. I told him I really enjoyed the Irvine show that was 2 days prior. Then I froze and couldn't think of anything else to say, I turned and walked away. Later on, the band were doing a photo shoot backstage on the rocks by the water ( the same photo shoot the band picture on Ryche World is from). We sat and watched and it was great. Though I think the guys were a bit distracted by us..they never told us to go away. I just want to say...What nice and gracious men they all are. I look forward to one day being on the other side of the fence!!

I met the band (whole band) after a Promised Land show in Cleveland, Ohio ( third of tour or second of tour ) I wasnt lucky enough to have bs passes or anything but simply waited in the area near the tour buses. After being told the band had left by any number of arena security or roadies we were feeling like leaving, so we left to cruise the local hotel we felt the band might be at..no luck there so we returned to the arena one more time ( had to drive to Pittsburgh, Pa. that night ) We waited until about 1:45 am or so and finally some action ! Eddie came out and signed some quick autographs for the 20 or so people crazy enough to hang out for that long after the show. He said that the band was still showering/eating after the meet and greet, but would be along shortly.. At about 2:15- 2:30 am the bus pulled out of the arena and much to our surprise and happiness stopped in the parking lot and the band got off and signed autographs and posed for some pictures with smart fans who had cameras... They answered a few quick questions from almost everyone in attendance and spent about 30-35 minutes with the group of 20 fans. I personally asked about the taping section they were to later establish on the PL tour ( I taped the show that night illegally ) (ooops!) and whether or not they would come to my hometown of Vancouver, BC (not far from Seattle across the border ) they said the tour hadn't been finalized at that time and they would see.. (sadly not to happen ). I asked Geoff if they would do Queen of the Reich at all on the tour and he said maybe (sadly not to happen ). I had cd inserts for Mindcrime and PL signed all but Scott on Mindcrime and Scott & Eddie on the PL poster. All in all nice guys and definately a night I'll remember for awhile.

Ben Gerber - HITNF Tour - Great Woods, Mass.

I was at the Now Frontier tour - Great Woods, Mass. My friend Tim and I were hanging around outside the stadium, having gotten their early with instructions to look for people in SiD T-shirts. People who work in and about Great Woods are wandering all around us as we were leaning against the bike racks near the front entrance. A group of two guys and three young women walk by, and Tim elbows me in the side and says "Hey, that's Scott Rockenfield with no hair!" We sort of looked around for a second, looked at each other, got up and follwed them to the WAAF bus, where they (as it turned out, it *was* Scott and Eddie as well) headed into the bus for an interview. After about twenty minutes they disembarked and were just hanging around the bus. By now all of these people are streaming by to get into the show and no one seems to notice Scott and Eddie standing in front of this bus. Tim goes "Hey Scott!" and Scott walks over to us and says "hey, what's up?" We shook his hand, mumbled something about gods of music or some such nonsense and talked about the Mindcrime tour (where the Ryche opened up for Metallica.) I remember Scott saying "God! That was like 8 years ago!" We said 'hi' briefly to Eddie and then they walked back into the stadium, still in relative obscurity. I was very impressed at their approachability and their very friendly attitude towards a couple of flabergasted fans.

Rev. Della Jane - PL Tour - San Antonio,TX 1995

June 10th, 1995 is a day I will never forget. I saw Queensryche live for the first time. San Antonio was to be one of the chosen stops on Promised Land Tour '95. At 8 a.m. the Saturday tickets went on sale, I waited in line for two hours until the record store opened to purchase my tickets - floor seats, seventh row from the stage. The concert was incredible! Two monstrous big screens with unbelievable video footage. Geoff Tate and the rest of the guys were the definition of perfection. The highlight of that concert for me was, of course, when they sang Silent Lucidity. I looked across the room and saw a literal sea of flames, coming from thousands of pocket lighters. This image has been burned deep into my soul. Now, with the release of another album, Here in the Now Frontier, the meaningful music of Queensryche is as profound and touching as ever. And, with two tickets to see Queensryche, again, in San Antonio on August 17th... What more could a rychean ask for?
