Originally from the East Coast, Jimmy Crespo has recorded and/or performed with Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jeff Beck, Stevie Nicks, Jon Bon Jovi, Clarence Clemons, Little Steven, Billy Squire, Julian Lennon, Bernie Taupan and more.

However Jimmy is perhaps most recognized as a member and co-writer of Aerosmith from 1979 - 1984. Jimmy formed a writing partnership with lead singer Steven Tyler, co-writing and producing the album Rock In A Hard Place. His work with Aerosmith also appeared on 1979's Night In The Ruts, 1986's Classics Live, 1989's Gems compilation, the band's 1973-1988 Greatest Hits and 1991's platinum-selling Pandora's Box compilation.

Jimmy is also well-known for his 2 year tour as lead guitarist for Rod Stewart in the late 90's. The World Tour was number one in Sold Out performances and ticket sales. Having completed the Rod Stewart gig, Jimmy moved to Las Vegas with his wife Cynthia and daughter Cristina. Jimmy has performed within some of Las Vegas' biggest rock shows, and currently performs with the band Rock Daddy in some of Vegas' coolest rock venues.
