Look out Noel! He's behind you!!!.
The main building on my picture consists of part of a law court building, and part of a building with mainly glass on the outside. I created the glass extension at the side by flipping part of the glass building vertically and fitting them together. Both buildings needed some transformation in order for them to fit together correctly as well as fit the background. I used "distort" and "perspective" for this. I used transformations in other parts of the picture such as the scream 2 poster in the foyer. That is the same one as outside on the wall but I altered the "perspective" and "scale". I created the inside foyer by drawing it myself. I also drew the door on the glass entrance, even the handles with push written on. Everything I drew I did on photoshop. I got the paving at the front from another picture and pasted that on. Both of the grass patches at each side of the building in the foreground, are from different pictures too. The one at the right with the flowers had to be flipped horizontally to fit into the picture suitably. The celebrity is ghostface from scream and scream 2, and is sneaking up behind me in the glass entrance foyer with a knife. I drew his body and knife as I couldn't find a suitable full length body shot anywhere, and fitted the body and head together. The picture of me is of me dressed as a witch, which fits in with the horror theme. I selected just me and dragged it into the foyer. To make the glass entrance semi-transparent, I reduced the "opacity" of the glass layer to 66 percent. I pasted the Warner Brothers logo on the building, had to "distort" it to fit the wall correctly, and needed to reduce the contrast to make it look like part of the building. Furthermore, I wrote "WARNER CINEMAS" in a suitable colour and fit that to the building also, in more than one place. The picture didn't look correct, and I figured this was because of no shadowing, so I selected parts of the picture which I thought should be shadowed, and reduced the brightness. I did this at the side of the building, near the plants, next to the scream 2 avertisment, next to the trees, and next to the stone pillars. Generally I had to alter the "brightness/Contrast", and "Colour Balance" of nearly everything, to make them all similar, in order to make everything look like it was from the same photograph. I also had to experiment with image sizes of everything so that everything was in proportion. The final piece consists of over forty layers and I am happy with the result.
I love scream.
