Stack each card oh so careful,
Build the walls of the grand old
house,
Shelter it from the wind,
Guard it with care.
Steady hands and tedious work,
Soon the results can be seen,
You’re so impressed it hasn’t
collapsed,
So proud of what you’ve done.
Cards that tell lies sit so
nice,
Cards that tell lies hide the
truth inside,
Your ignorance caused your
demise,
Your oversight caused your pain.
Each lie eventually is revealed,
Each card is slowly removed,
The collapse is inevitable,
As you suffocate under your
house of cards.
Slowly you rot,
Slowly you die,
Your lies become your only
company now,
Your foolishness is now
realized.
Now you will die alone,
And the thought paralyzes you
with fear,
All because you used all your
lies,
To build your house of cards.
