James Dean was an actor in mid-50's. James Dean stared in three seperate movies. He was nominated for two Academy Awards for his roles in "East of Eden," and "Giant". Dean also stared in "Rebel Without A Cause". He was able to do all three movies over about a years time (1955). In addition to all the three movies he did he also appeared on many TV sitcoms and Dramas. James Dean has his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and is located at 1717 Vine Street. James Dean has even inspired some of the greatest names in Rock 'n Roll, such as: Elvis Presley, John Lennon, the Eagles, and Bob Dylan.

After his part in "Eden" he bought his first Porche. One of his favorite hobbies was racing. He entered into races at Palm Springs, Bakersfield, and Santa Barbara to just name a few.

Dean loved to listen to his music very loud, no matter what he listened to. Some of his favorite bands included Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, and Judy Garland. His favortie album was Sinatra's "Songs For Young Lovers." His favorite song was Billie Holiday's "When Your Lover Has Gone." James Dean died on Sept 30, 1955. He was only 24 at the time of his death. James Dean will always be remembered for his looks, movies, and most of all his great talent.
