I bought this cd thinking it was going to be an all swing cd, well only 2 or 3 songs were swing, the rest were assorted types of music such as rockibilly, crap, 60's sounding stuff, and stuff I can't even classify. The swing songs are ok for a listen or two, but not really good at all, the rest are weird and I thought they sucked. I can't recommend this cd, unless you like experimental stuff ( I don't). Buy at your own risk! I give it a 2.

Okay, this is the only Cherry Poppin' Daddie's cd that is actually all swing, but only a few songs are actually any good. None of the songs actually sound the same so its really hard to describe their sound. Some of its poppy, some of its serious, and soem of it is just plain fucked up. Big fans of swing might like this cd because of it diversity, (I really don't like or hate this cd), its just not that good. If you want a good, consistant swing band get a Big Bad Voodoo Daddy cd. I give the song "Zoot Suit Riot" a 7.5. I give the rest of the cd a 4.5.

Chuck is a quick paced semi melodic punk band with quick fury tempered lyrics. They sound like a typical So Cal pop punk band blended with melodic hardcore for vocals. The instrumental is quick and poppy with a heavier edge. I also really like the bass lines on this album. Most of this album had good messages and points, but sometimes its too dark and negative. I like most of the songs on this cd, but none really sound too much better than the rest. Fans of early Good Riddance and heavier pop punk will like this album. I give it a 7.

This album is not as poppy as their first and much heavier. This album is still ok, but most of the instrumental and vocals are much darker and heavier. I also don't like the way they mixed the vocals on this cd. Half of this album is pretty good, but the other half is too dark and heavy. I recommend their first album over this one any day. Despite this albums many downsides, the bass lines on this album are still very good. Favorite songs include "Punk Rock Face", "White", and "P.O.C.". I give it a 5.5.

Cryptorchid Chipmunk is a very good local Pop Punk band from WV that kick ass. I had the privalege to talk to Andrew, the guitarist of Cryptorchid Chipmunk. In my openion, i think there a great band that if i had a record label of my own, i'd love to sign them, there a Pop Punk band, with the sound that makes you just want to jump around naked and kiss all of them. Going on just the 4 songs that i heard i have to give them a 10+. I can only hope that they will keep it up and never sellout, or let something stupid break them up, and i really look forward to hearing there first album.
