Ok, these guys have been called "sellouts" ever since their song "Salvation" played on MTV, but the question remains "Are these guys any good?". The answer is yes, but only to some degree. Whereas I love their quick, bouncy instrumental, (with some great bass lines) I hate Tim Armstrong's slurred voice. I like this album a lot, (the lyrics are good too) but Tim's voice slices through the music and becomes totally annoying after 23 songs. Favorite songs: "Side Kick", "Salvation", and "The Ballad of Jimmy and Johnny". Buy this album if you've heard Rancid, and are completely sure that you like them. I give them a 6.5.
