I was lucky enough to see 98 Degrees perform on December, 19, 1998 at the XL 106.7 Northerner's Party. It was put on by a GREAT radio station in Orlando, Florida (I'm from Michigan, but was on vacation) and for a great cause called BABY DJ FUND. (To all the peeps at 106.7....you guys rule! Thanks for putting on such an awesome concert! And to all of ya who I kept in touch with online-Doc, Nikki, Hildi, Buckethead-thanks for everything, next time I'm in Florida I'm coming to see you!!!) I was VERY close because a lot of the older people let me stand in front of them! In this first picture, Jeff is looking right at me because during 'Invisible Man' I was holding up my JEFF I LOVE YOU sign, until he FINALLY saw it and came over to where I was standing. He bent down a bit, and sang right to me. I held up my camera so he pointed and smiled. I yelled I LOVE YOU, and he nodded and winked back! I was SO freaking out after he did that, I think all the adults around me were getting a bit scared! They performed a little intro dance, 'Heat It Up', 'True To Your Heart', 'Invisible Man', 'Silent Night', and 'Because Of You'. I found out Justin really can move! DANG! He was out there doing all the awesome little dance moves! You rock Big J! And Drew was just as adorable as ever! He had on a hat (as usual) and during 'True To Your Heart' he did the "getting jiggy wit it" dance! I was screaming so loud when he did it, then he looked at me and laughed! Nick was looking great! He had on these awesome shades at the beginning, and his voice sounded perfect throughout the night. And to my And then to my jeff (I know he's not MINE, he had a girlfriend, but I can wish, right?!) He is the biggest flirt ever! (AND I LOVE HIM FOR IT!) hehe! He was smiling at all of the girls and everything , it was SO cute! You can tell he knows he's all that coz' he unzipped his coat and was like (to the audience), "Come on guys, let's go!" AHHHH! But he is the biggest sweetheart and I love him! It was a GREAT concert and I can't wait 'til they come back to Michigan on April 17-19 so I can see my boys again...Jeff, Big J, Nick & Drew...see ya at the concert, I'll be there for sure!!! |
