Capsule: The Victory Star Carrier is a modification to the basic Victory Star Destroyer hull, meant to provide fighter support to
fleets and invasions at the end of the Clone Wars. It is lightly armed, but it is not intended to enter combat. Rather, it is designed for the same roles as the Empire's Escort Carrier.
Designed to carry a full wing of fighters and a small number of assault troops, it was an excellent fleet carrier for its day. The handful that where completed remain in Imperial service, where they are fulfilling their original role after some modification. They are doing very well supporting escorts and lower priority missions. Thought were only lightly protected, have sustained increased losses.
