NK Biography

__NK, also known as Nick Keras, is a well respected DJ in the Canadian underground scene. NK was born in Toronto and is now 26 years old. For the past decade, NK has been tearing up dance floors with his explosive sets of progressive house music. NK appears regularly on Toronto's underground radio stations including Energy 107.9FM, Global Groove 100.7FM, and CHRY 105.5FM.

__NK recieved Dr. Trance's "Artist of the Year" award for his prolific work in producing house music. As well, NK was nominated for Toronto's Techno "DJ of the Year" at the Toronto DJ Awards. In addition, NK has played for almost every underground club and rave in southern Ontario and western New York. Most of the events NK has performed at are listed here.

__NK also produces house music with his partner Hatiras. In 1997, they released a track on FU Records entitled 'Everybody Reach'. This track, being their first musical release, charted on Trippin' on Energy's Top Ten Songs for 1997, as well as hitting the number seven spot on Dr. Trance's Top Ten Song's for 1997. According to Dr. Trance, 'Everybody Reach' is the first Canadian song to ever make his top ten list for the ten years that he has aired the Dr. Trance Show. Moreover, their famous single is also available on various compilations including Italo Magic Dance Hits '97 and DJ's United Klub Anthems '98.

__NK has a CD out including some of the songs he has produced along with Hatiras. The album is titled 'Liquid Adrenaline' and contains 14 original full length tracks produced by NK and Hatiras. In addition, NK has a new project in the works with various international record labels to Release and distribute tracks off the CD throughout the world.
