Hey Gang--
A 'Comet' fragment blazed into Columbus, Ohio Friday evening, 12/05/97.  NY's
native son, Richie Scarlet (of
Frehley's Comet, The Ace Frehley Band, and Mountain)
returned to the Columbus area after a 2-year absence.
He and bandmates, Bach, BamBam, Jimmy and Larry
rocked to club 'til its very foundation shook.  Prior to
Friday, I had never been a Sebastian Bach/Skid Row fan.
Bas is quite a showman!!  Not since the glory days of
David Lee Roth have I seen a man motivate the masses
of female fans--they lined the stage about 4-5 rows deep.
He tossed his golden mane furiously as he belted one
Skid Row tune after another.  It was a sight to behold.
But the highlight for me was when I received an invitation
from Richie (about the 4th or 5th song into their set) to
watch the remainder of the show from backstage.  After
the show, we just hung out and talked.  Richie introduced
me to Sebastian and he took our picture together.  He was
really nice.  Larry took a picture of me and Richie.  They're
all really great guys!!!  In my eyes, 'The Emperor' and his
current royal court reign supreme!!!!
