it was freezing and wonderful. Front row center. I got pictures, too!
She started with chopsticks and played (in no order)
Never Said, Dance of the Seven Veils, 6'1, Don't apologize, wcse,
Flower, Fuck and Run, Stratford on Guy , firewalker, perfect world, uncle alvarez, cinco de mayo, mesmerizing, polyester bride, divorce song, ... i think that's it. I have a bad memory. 3 setlists were handed out so hopefully someone on the list got one.
I noticed her backup singer got better. She sounds more in tune with what liz is doing now.
What else.. grey fuzzy hat with ear flaps, tight black top, sequined skirt, black skintight pants, black funky open toed shoes. She was freezing and kept dancing about to keep warm. She also told us a story about how whenever some idiot in a band would screw her over she's imagine razors under the frets so he would slit his fingers open as he played. I found that amusing. I don't think she signed any autographs.. we waited, but only about 10 minutes then got too cold and went drinking in the dorms. I'll scan the pictures after may 14th. it was great:) I can die happy now.

Hi,
I'm new to the list. I went to that show. She came on 45 minutes late. Did anyone else do? I came about 15 of 8 and some other band was playing. They were OK. That was actually my first time hearing Liz Phair. I found out about her (sorta) around when whitechocolatespaceegg came out. I thought she was Sheryl Crow when I first saw her picture. Anyway, the concert was free, and I totallly enjoyed it. Now I have to convince my mom to let me get that CD. Anyway, she sang "F*** and Run,"
and "Love is Nothing" and lots of other stuff, but I can't remember the titles. 3 encores! She was great. I look forward to hearing abouther.
