Hey all,

Saw liz last light at Bohager's in Baltimore. It was an incredible night. I don't really know where to start so how about the beginning. My friend and i got there about an hour an a half before the doors opened at 8:00. As we were walking to get in to line i saw David Mead over by their van. I went over and told him how much i enjoyed his set last week at the 9:30 club. We talked for a little bit and he is a really cool guy.

When we got in to line we were like 8th and 9th in line. When doors finally opened, we managed to stake out a spot next to the stage just left of the mic. David Mead came out and they played their set. They sounded really good. Even better then last week at the 9:30 club.

Liz came on about 10:20. She had on a tight blue shirt and black stretch pants. I was about five feet from her. I was able to get the set list after the show so hear it goes.

11. Glory
12. Uncle Alverez
13. New Rock -"Don't Apologize"
14. Polyester Bride

16. Whitechocolatespaceegg

- -Encore-

17. Perfect World
18. Support System (Not on Set List)
19. Stratford-on-Guy
20. Divorce Song

They really sounded good. Liz was on this French kick where she would say things in french between songs or speak in a French accent, it was really funny. At sometime during the show someone in the audience winged a video tape up on stage. I'm guessing their intentions were good but it hit Liz right in the chest. It looked like it really hurt and Liz had a red mark where it hit her. I was surprised how well Liz took it. She just kind of laughed it off. If that was me i would of thrown a fit of rock star proportions. During the encore Liz Dropped her pick and i was able to pick it up after she left the stage. I also made away with a set list, a drum stick, and Buddy's pick. Basically, I was grabbing everything that wasn't bolted down.

After the show my friend and i waited out by the back door along with about a dozen other people. Liz eventually came out and was really cool about signing autographs and having her picture taken. I got her to sign the set list for me. One guy waiting after the show had a red miata with the license plate LZ PHAIR. He got liz to sign his plate. That was really cool. She was in a hurry so she kind of rushed around signing things. She still managed to give autographs to everyone out there. Then she said a final farewell and drove off.

My friend and i waited another 5 minutes talking to people who where out there. Then Janet came out and we talked to her for about 5 minutes. She is really cool, and really funny. I got her to sign my set list to. She said she was kind of sad that the tour was ending but they would be doing the Lilith Fair soon enough.

It was just a really great night. I went with the hope of getting her guitar pick, and i did. I now have the guitar picks of my two favorite singers. Liz Phair and Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins.

Thanks for listening and I'll talk to ya'll later.
