Hellow to you, After seeing this and some other sites, I am convinced that a more authentic music community exits beyond MTV, and pop radio. The reach of the Shadows is remarkable and still not fully grasped as world wide influence. My older brother made aware of them (he plays the guitar quite well) and then I heard a radio man menation that they were "once bigger than the Beatles!". I knew then that I had to find out who they were. It was four years before I heard then and another before I finally bought a record of their's. Thanks for a great site Chai!Youre a very good gitarrist, and the Band.Have downloaded all youre files,and must say i'm very impressed. iv'e just got reborned to this Shadowmania,Started as 11 years old "61" with an mosaic strat copie, with an 5 watts amp I could get my hand beetween the strings and the fretboard, but that didn't stop me from learning Apache and some other Shadtunes.Saw The Shadows here in Sweden 62,and had the oppertunity to talk to Hank and the others after the gig.That was sure a great emory.Had a local Band here 62-66 called The Diamonds and played many Cliff and Shadows tunes. I used to be a band member in the 60's when I was a teen ager. I really admire Cliff and The Shadows. I still play there music on cd's. I never realized that Thailand have The Shadows fans like you. We have a lot of The Shadows sound a like in the Phili pines during the 60's and some of them are here in California like my brother and playing some of their music. I don't play bass anymore but I wish I became better because I can't catch up anymore with my brother who plays lead with a semi- professional n Los Angeles.
