Yes it's true ladies...whether you like it or not, Kevin and Brian are engaged. How you react to the news depends on what kinda of fan you are. Some girls burst into tears when the news was confirmed on TRL, then swore under their breaths at those horrible fiancées. How rude of them to steal your man away. On the other hand, I think the majority of us fans (the more mature fans in my opinion) are very happy for the cousins.
Brian and Leighanne Wallace have been together for several years, as most of us knew. She is a beautiful actress and a sweet girl when she's not being attacked by ruthless teenyboppers. I think they met on the set of BSB's "As Long As You Love Me" video shoot. As you probably know, she's the blonde one with glasses in the video. She was also Brian's love interest in the "Ill Never Break You Heart" video.
Kevin and Kristin Willits have been in an on-and-off relationship since they met at Disney World seven years ago when she was a dancer and he was...well...a Ninja Turtle. Kevin has been more hush hush about his gal pal, but if you have been paying attention very carefully you probably knew that he had a girlfriend a while ago. I haven't seen much of Kristin before but I'm guessing now that the news is official, we will.
I also want to say that I think we should ALL be extremely nice and considerate to Brian, Leighanne, Kevin and Kristin. Approaching Leighanne at a concert, cussing her out and threatening her is not a very good way to show that your a fan. How do you think Brian reacts when he hears of how some teenager acted so rudely to his wife-to-be? Yeah, he's gonna make sure he remembers YOU as a wonderful fan.
A nicer way of meeting up with any of the BSB girlfriends would be to simply say hi, introduce yourself and tell her you know she and he are together and that you are happy for them, and ask her to take care of him for you. Now isn't that much sweeter? I'm sure they'll walk away thinking so. Being a polite fan is an important thing to be...for your sake, the girlfriends sake, and most of all for the Backstreet Boys' sakes. You don't have to love the girlfriends or fiancées, but at least aknowledge that the Boys do. And if you love the Boys as I do and I'm sure most of you do...respect them.
