Monica's Meeting with Duncan

This past summer, I worked at Atlantic Records in LA as an intern. I worked in the product development department, so I met a few of the people Duncan thanks on his first CD. That was pretty cool. But then one day Duncan's manager, David Lienheardt, was in my boss' office, and someone told me he was Duncan's manager. I ran in there and told both my boss and David what a Duncan fan I was, and David said Duncan would stop by in the next few weeks and I could meet him (that was the same week Duncan recorded his 90210 appearance). About two weeks later, a fellow worker of mine told me to go out into the reception area out of the blue, so I did. To my shock, there was Duncan, just standing there looking at me. I spewed out my name, what a fan I was, how I was inspired, blah blah blah, the usual stuff you'd expect. I really didn't know what to say, but I didn't want to take up too much of his time or space. So, I asked if I could shake his hand. He took my hand, and then he pulled me in closer and hugged me! It must have been one fabulous hug because I don't remember what happened next. All I remember is that I was asking him if he'd sign my CD. He said sure. I went back to my desk and got my CD, brought it back over to him, and he signed it. I thanked him and continued on in my day, on cloud nine.
