I've been costuming for about 7 years and I have been around or involved in costumes all my life. My first costume was a Regency outfit when I was 16, I sewed the thing by hand and it took me near 4 months to finish. I've sense bought three sewing machine and a serger (god's only gift to Costumer's). You will mostly see me at science fiction conventions and SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) events helping out or running some portion of the show. This is something my family to blame for the last 8 years I've been helping them out running conventions.
