To make a long story short, I am an outspoken conservative. I believe in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I believe in low taxes, low spending, a lean federal government, power in the states, and a strong national defense. Politically, I worship at the feet of Ronald Reagan, perhaps my #1 guy. Also up there are William F. Buckley, Margaret Thatcher, Jack Kemp, and John Kasich. I consider myself a bleeding-heart conservative. I don't favor starving children or taking Social Security away from our seniors. I do favor a rational government that does not see itself as the solution to every problem out there. I think people are the solution to a problem.

This space will contain my ideas, rants, musings, and mutterings on whatever is going on out there in the world of politics, and just in the world. It might get crowded pretty quickly, with this being an election year. But that makes it all the more fun for me. I thrive on this stuff. That's why I'm a Political Science major.
