KITTY & IRENE

If you think that they never take the change you're wrong
I've seen this happen several times before
I saw them walk right through the door
But something strange happened Saturday about 6 a.m.
Here's how it went: Kitty & Irene came in my store

Oh Kitty, she's from Fox Chapel
And Irene, she's from Sharpsburg!

They realy make it look so easy--not scared
They said "Hit the ground and it will be O.K."
I opened my drawers then I obeyed
I heard their gum crackin as I lay there just laughing out loud
No, the alarm didn't sound
Kitty & Irene will never be found

Oh my Kitty, she's such a Fox Chapel
And Irene, she's so Sharpsburg!

I wish they'd do this more
I came as they went out the door

If you think that I'll tell you both their names
Well, you're wrong. I've never seen either of them before
But something strange happened Saturday about 3 or 4
Officer, I'll tell you once more
Kitty & Irene weren't in my store

Yeah, they took the kitty
They even took the Snapple
And all the Jolly Ranchers
But not the green apple
They'll never get my Kitty,no
She's such aFox Chapel
Her and Irene are both--so Sharpsburg!
