News, and Pointless but fun tidbits July 97-Supergrass Played the Glastonbury Festival. Most reviewers said the set was fantastic, ect., and the set went something like this:

Richard III
Caught by the fuzz
sitting up straight
Time
Alright
Sun hits the sky
In it for the money
Lose it
Going out

Encores: It's not me
Lenny
Strange ones

Thanks to Andy Smith for the setlist.
note:it went _something_ like that. It wasn't exactly like that, he doesn't think

mas Supergrass returned to the studio to record the follow up to "I Should CoCo" at Sawmills in Cornwall. They took on the production role themselves, and recorded the album rather quickly, including some takes on the lawn outside the studio. The release date was postponed on more than on occasion. The LP is out along with "Richard III". If you live in the states it comes with a bonus CD, tracks can be found in the discography. If you haven't bought it yet, go buy it. Reviews are in the Interviews and Reviews section.

7/8-Supergrass to open for the Foo Fighters, possibly. Check Pollstar for dates. Useless(but fun)info

A while back (July 95..about there), Gaz turned down an offer to appear in a Calvin Klein photoshoot with his girlfriend after seeing photos of him in Italian Vogue. Gaz turned them down because he was too busy. A supergrass spokesperson said he wanted to do the photo shoot but he was in Japan.

The Video for "Alright" was shot in the same place the TV series The Prisoner was shot, in North Wales.

Danny worked as a dinner lady while he was in the Jennifers, his and Gaz's former band signed to Nude Records. Read a little about this in the Interviews and Reviews section. But I'm sure most of you already knew this anyway.
