1990-1994 European Business Programme. Businees degree ( BA Honours 2:1). European Business Management; two years experience in Madrid Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a further two years at the University of Humberside (Erasmus). Dissertation : "Architecture & Corporate Identity". Specialised in Marketing and Information Systems.

Sep 89: PROCOEX, S.A., (Madrid).Responsible for stock control and stationery distribution, with the aid of specialised software.
Dec90-Feb91: DOMINO´S PIZZA (Madrid) taking customers´ orders, cooking, stock taking, cashing up.
Mar-Aug 92: Work placement at "Empresa Nacional Elcano de la Marina Mercante", Madrid. I worked in the commercial department dealing with charterers, port agents, ship owners, oil suppliers and brokers. I also personally negotiated the purchase of oil bunkers, taking full resposibility for decision making to a value of U.S.$650,000.
Mar-Aug 93: Work placement at ALCO-MET Ltd. (Hull, UK.), a company specialised in the supply of solder to electronic companies and other metal trading. My responsibilities lay in conducting market research of the Spanish electronic industry and investigating new markets for products in the U.K. I also took clients orders, managed their shipment and undertook their billing.
Jul-Sep 94: Theatre company El Hilo de Ariadna (Madrid). I achieved the sponsorship of The Body Shop and that of a telecommunications company. I worked in production, communication and publicity, and acted in performances at the Casa de America and the Estadio de la Comunidad de Madrid.
Oct-Dec 94: Taught in the Instituto Madrileño para el Empleo y la Formacion Empresarial (IMEFE), on courses of Brand Image and Business Trends.
Marketing consultant for LASER CITY. I created a pricing structure and a corporate entertainment policy, undertaking its promotion.
Volunteer for ACTION AID Spain in the PR and advertising department, participating in corporate fund-raising, with the aim of increasing awareness.
Jan-Mar 95: Head of marketing for LASERCITY. Development of projects initiated during my first phase. Designed and completed a mailer offering corporate hospitality, and created a campaign to attract tourists to LASER CITY, staying in nearby hotels.
Mar 95-Sep 96: Account executive for the advertising agency Ruiz Nicoli, Madrid. I undertook tasks of production, supervised the creation of communication concepts and media planning, billing, and client liaison. I worked with the following clients:
AMADEUS: Global travel distribution company with a head office in Madrid. It has national marketing companies (NMCs) in more than 50 countries and from Ruiz Nicoli I worked directly with more than 30 NMCs over six continents.
Caja Salamanca y Soria (savings bank). I undertook campaigns of corporate image, product promotion and the opening of new offices, both nationally and abroad.
Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. I worked on campaigns for public awareness and exhibitions at both national and international levels.
Other clients: Telefonica, Tennent´s, Caffrey´s, Irish Meat Marketing Board.
Oct-Dec 96: Chimaera Creative Services (Buxton, U.K.), account manager. My main responsibilities included to coordinate the production, design, copy writing and translation of paneuropean direct marketing campaigns for DIGITAL CORPORATION. All the translations, presentations of creativity, and client approval by the market managers, was carried out via the internet. Other clients: AMADEUS (campaigns for India, U.K., Spain, Checz Republic, Russia), XIRCOM U.K.
Jan- Sep 97:

Trade Office of the Spanish Embassy in Mexico City. I am working as a Market Analyst. My duties include organizing trade missions, counseling spanish companies on exports to Mexico, market research, and website designing. The nature of my work here is to do my national service (equivalent to the compulsory military service in Spain). I will complete it by September 97.
