Heepvention '97 Story
Hello my friend,
I arrived in st. louis last thursday, and Chrissy waiting for me in
the airport. On the way home, we stopped in the music shop, and I buy
the first stuff in the USA. Guess what it was? It was "return to
fantasy re master" In Friday, Chrissy and I went to the airport to
pick up Muzzy and Dale Frederick. I picked up Dale, and Chrissy picked
up Muzzy from another gate. In the time when chrissy pick up muzzy,
dale and me waiting for them in the parking lot about one hour.....so
we passed the time singing heep songs...VERY LOUD....it was a very
funny situation when I sing line from showdown....the music explodes
like a gun in your hand. In front of us was a car with an old lady
inside, and I sing and used my finger as a gun and shot at her face!!
After this, we found a new line to showdown song. Instead of
showdown, it's going to be a touchdown. And we was very proud of
this. We went to the cheshire hotel, and we meet all the other
heepsters. I found a nickname for everybody......Jesse was jesus,
Muzzy was Mozey, Dave was Dove, Richard wagner was Richie, and Chrissy
was Witchie! Jesus show us his stuff, and I was very impressed about
it. This guy knows allot about Uriah Heep. And he told us a story
about how they found a record of "rough diamond" in cleveland. It was
an amazing story. In the evening we went to the pub and Alex and I
went to the piano and we sing "rain" and "wizard", and everybody was
so happy. From the moment I saw all the heepsters, I make allot of
fuss all over the hotel because I was so excited to meet everybody.
Saturday: We went back to the cheshire, and I watched the rehearsal
for that night. It was very good. I sang "circle of friends" and Dave
and Bob fuck off the second half of the song....but they fixed it in
the evening. Dave bring with him my picture book and everybody was
excited to look at this. I asked everybody to sign Jessicas album
(Look at yourself). She won it because she was #500 to arrive at my
homepage. So everybody signed on this album. Sorry you were not here
to sign too. Saturday night party: What can I say about the party?
Everybody told about the stories on the heeplist, so you already know
most of it....but i want to tell you my side of the story. All my life
I wanted to sing heep songs with a band.....this was my dream to sing
these songs....that is why I came to st. louis to the convention. I
need to sing two songs...."circle of hands" and "July Morning"...and
usually I sing these songs very good, and I don't know what happened
when I went to the stage...something all the time fuck off....and I
can't sing it right....BUT, I make a VERY good performer. My body
shake, and I danced and made excitement on the stage, so it covered up
my singing. After this, I share a couple of songs with Bob and Bigdog,
and it was good. . In my picture book lottery, Mac won it That's all
