Richard Marx

A Now and Forever Repeat Offender

Welcome to my Richard Marx page....PICTURES have just been added!!

Richard Marx has had an extensive career. He grew up in Highland Park, IL, which is outside of Chicago (same place as my parents) and made his break in LA. and had his first hit in 1987. Richard has a voice like no other. The words he write not only mark him as a talented songwriter, but also provide pure emotion, which is reflected when he sings! Songs such as "Right Here Waiting," "Hold On To the Nights," "Satisfied," "Don't Mean Nothin'," "Now and Forever," and the ROer favorite, "Touch of Heaven." He now lives in Chicagoland again, and has continued to be a dedicated family man and musician. He is also dedicated to keeping Arts in the nation's schools and is against smoking (yes!)

In 1997 I found a group of Richard Marx fans on the net, called the Repeat Offenders. We've become a solid group, and have created lasting friendships! The Chicago "ROer's" get together about once a month! I met them in April of '97...after 10 years of loving this Chitown hero in Naperville, IL during a bookstore tour to promote his new album, Flesh & Bone, and on his Fight For the Arts campaign. He played a mini-concert and talked about the FFTA. Here are my few good pictures of Richard from April and Sept. of 1997...
