Nile Rodgers & Bernard Edwards created the pre-eminent group of the late 70's and early 80's. Chic was the essence of style and groovy dance numbers. Le Freak were their signature no. 1 hit, Good Times, positioned them for legend status. Their work with other artists like Diana Ross, Sister Sledge, Debbie Harry, Madonna, David Bowie, Duran Duran, ABC, Jody Watley, Mick Jagger, Grace Jones and many more has produced history making albums which will stand the test of time. The true impact of CHIC's work can't be measured, the group has had a decisive impact on rap history as well as large parts of British pop.
