Absolutely Beatles

I've loved the Beatles as long as I can remember, ever since my parents would play the records for me as a child. The first album I ever heard was Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and from then on I was hooked. I didn't know how to work the record player, so I would bring the record to my mom or dad and beg them to play it for me over and over. I have since learned. =) Back then, I didn't really understand any of the words, but I loved the melodies and funnier, lighter songs such as Rocky Raccoon. As time passed, I listened to the words and gained new understanding of the Beatles' music. Even now, I sometimes have new revelations about the words to their songs. "Living is easy with eyes closed," said John Lennon in Strawberry Fields Forever. I guess mine are opening wider every day.
