OK, I just got back from the goo concert in Cleveland at Blossom, and right now all I can say is WOW!!!
We left later than planned,
so I thought the night would be ruined, because I wanted to get there early,
scope out all of the people, and just see what was going on, but that didn't
happen. We got there at 7:30, as soon as Fastball started playing.
We didn't want to sit down right away (oh, by saying we, I am referring
to my 2 friends Christina, and Krysteena, yeah they're both Christina's.)
so we decided to look around at all of the booths and food and Goo stuff.
OK, I might say things that you don't find important, but I just want to
tell the whole night like it happened, because it was great! so
we went to a local radio
station booth and got ourselves on the radio! That was pretty cool.
and then we saw these 2 winners of some contest w/ this HUGE Levi's
Fuse board that people could sign, so we all signed it, and then
we signed one of the guy's
shirts, which I thought was pretty cool, even though I have no clue who
he was. :) So anyway, we got temporary tattoos from the
Levi people, free earplugs etc. etc. Then we got some sunscreen from
a
radio station which i decided
to put on b/c I am just goofy and wanted to smell like coconuts.
:) then I bought a T-shirt, which I will explain more about in the
end of this letter.
So, now to the musical part!
:) We went in and listened to the last couple songs that fastball
played, then one of my friends had to go to the bathroom, so when
they were done we went, and we didn't have to sit there and watch
Sugar Ray set up. We came back and sugar Ray came on. They
were ok, not the best, but not the worst. We only knew three of the
songs, and the rest we kinda pretended we knew and just hummed and made
fools of ourselves! ~lol~ So we sat through Sugar Ray, and
alllllll of the set up for the Goos. Finally, they came out.
We didn't have very good seats at all, but I was so happy I could be there.
This was the first concert I have ever been to mind you. Dizzy was
great. EVERYTHING was great! I screamed so loud my throat is
killing me. We took some pretty bad pictures ~lol~ but it is still
something to remember the night of my life. I am just in shock,
even though I didn't get to meet them, or get a close up view,
I don't care!
I am so glad I could be there, and see them LIVE! Wow, if they really
are touring in the fall ( I dunno if the rumors are true or not)
I am DEFINITELY going again!!!!!
