On May 8th, 1998, Brian Thomas Littrell decided to quit playing games with his heart. As any fan knows, Brian was born with a hole in his heart and was very ill when he was young. In fact, he wasn't even expected to live. But something miraculous happened and Brian is fortunately with us today. Brian took time off from his constant touring to have the hole in his heart closed up. The doctors found another hole in his heart that nobody had seen before, but closed that one up too. He made it through the surgery very well and is back on his feet, and back to touring with his Backstreet buddies.
