Who is this fascinating creature? 

  In the beggining, it was just a head that illustrated the backgorund stage and the cover of the first album. With this atribbutes this head was called "Eddie The Head". With a scared appearence and scaring at the same time it got a body, history and a great status in the band; became its symbol.  

       At the second album, Eddie appears with a little ax in a bloody hand, and the other holds a t-shirt... in one of the singles we can see that it was Margareth Tacher's t-shirt, the english iron maiden. At the same epoch Eddie grasped a samurai sword in the other side of the world. (Live in Japan)  

    In its third album apparition, Eddie dominated the Devil, as a marionette and Devil made the same with a Man. I another appearence, Eddie killed the Devil...  

    In Piece of Mind, Eddie was in a strait jacket, clutched inside a room, with chains in his nuke and legs. In this epoch, Eddie burned Icaro's wings fire launcher, finishing with the boy's dreams, fly until the sun.  

    In Powerslave, Eddie was dead(at least, this is mine impression) and was taked to Egypt, builded an enourmos temple like it, where its body was mummified. Right after in Live After Death, Eddie revives at a bestial form (maybe one of the best Maiden's covers) with struggle in its eyes Eddie jumps from a grave in some cemitery, in some city. Eddie joined the World Wars in its plane (Aces High). At the Two Minutes to Midnight single, Eddie comes with one eye covered, as if was one-eyed.  

    After, Eddie travels in time, (Somewhere in Time) goes to the future, wit a laser gun in hand, and goes to the street making "justice". In the place of the eye that was retired, a bionic eye.  

    In Seventh Son Eddie gets a child... that makes a great doubt appears... Would Eddie be a woman?  

    One more time, without explanation, Eddie is buried and gets out from the grave killing a grave-digger (probably) inocent (No Prayer For The Dying). In another airplane, Eddie becomes a tailgunner (Tailgunner).  

   As one of the strangiest appearences, Eddie becomes a creature, half tree, half "human being", in Fear Of The Dark. In that epoch, Eddie left its hair grow and made a Steve Harris's cover (A Real Live One), invaded a radio station and played Iron Maiden for 24 hours a day (A Real Dead One).  

    In The X Factor, Eddie became victim of a lobotomy (???) where putted out the superior part of its head and made several exams in its brain. Eddie came in the computer style in "Virus" with several "wires" sprading out from his head. Finishing its history, Eddie came in many forms telled before in Best Of The Beast.

    At Virtual IX, Eddie appears with a big brain, with a hand around a boy that uses a VR machine and holds a notebook. In this last cover, Eddie wins a pair of ears.

     Maybe, the most courious thing is the Eddieson's appearence at the cover of the Bruce Dicknson & Adrian Smith's, Accident of Birth. Eddieson was created and made by Derek Riggs and can be the Eddie's son (Eddie + son) or just a fusion of Eddie + DickinSON.   Hold on, 'cause Eddie is gonna get you...
