The new Iron Maiden's album, Virtual XI, was released in March 23, 98. It has 8 tracks and is "heavier" than The X Factor. Second Blaze Bayley, this album isn't "negative" as The X Factor, it's "positive", "up side". The name Virtual XI is because the album is the number 11 (studio) and also because they love soccer and realesed the album in the year of the World Cup. On the cover, we can see a soccer match between Brazil and England, 'cause for them, that will be the World Cup Final...

The tour will start in some European countries, and as usual, will go around all the world. In the end of the year, Maiden will play in Brazil, in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

Althoght only 8 tracks, most of them have more than 6 minutes, the smallest one is Futureal with 3 minutes, justly. Another interesting factor is that not only Steve Harris is making the songs, the other integrants are writing too(of course Nicko didn't...). The song Como Estais Amigos was written by Janick Gers and Blaze Bayley.
