  • Before, under our rumors section, we had a rumor that said that Brian wasn't a virgin. This, apparently, is no longer a rumor, but it's true. Take a look at this transcript of AJ's Yahoo Chat. The stuff you're looking for is about halfway down the transcript. Information from Mandy.

Past news...

  • The Boys are coming out with a new video today (November 10). It is entitled "A Night Out With The Backstreet Boys" and we know it's released in Canada, but we're not sure where else.
  • On YTV's Hit List they've been interviewing Howie and AJ, and it was a four-part interview. The fourth part should be coming up this week. The show's on Friday nights and Saturday afternoons. On that show you also might catch the vid of the Bravo All Stars "Let the Music Heal Your Soul" which the Boys (and Aaron Carter for any of his fans) are part of.
  • They've fired their managers, Johnny and Donna Wright.
  • I'm sure that most of you have heard the sad news that unfortunately, Howie's sister Caroline passed away recently unexpectedly from Lupus. We send all our condolences to his family. =0(
  • Okay...I don't know if you guys'll like this, but take a look at the News page at Jill's Backstreet Boys Heaven. It concerns the Boys' girlfriends.
  • The Edmonton concert is now past. It was an absolutely awesome concert. If anyone else has any concert reviews or run-ins with the group, please send us your stories.
  • The possible opening acts for the Boys' tour are: Aaron Carter, S.O.A.P. and Jimmy Ray.
  • Edmontonians - the trip for 2 to Calgary along with tickets and backstage passes, then 2 tickets for the Edmonton show from Power 92 has been given away. =0(
  • The last Yahoo chat is on August the 18th. However, the chat with Nick Carter on the thirteenth wasn't all that great, so if you miss the last chat, it's no biggie.
  • The Backstreet Boys will individually be on Yahoo Chats. The dates are: July 16, July 18, August 11, August 18, and September 3.
  • In a Backstreet Boys-authorized magazine, they said that at the moment their new album does not have a name yet! Where did all this "Backstreet Paradise" business come from, then?
  • "That's the Way I Like It" has been released here in Canada. We've heard it on the radio many times already. We're hoping a video is in the making. =0)
  • We saw on someone's page that Brian said on The View that he is in fact not engaged.
  • As you saw on our first page, Howie D. has a newly grown mustache. Really big fans of Howie may want to see a pic which is located on Rainbow Love's page (in our links), under news.
  • Apparently, a video in Quebec has been released called "Backstreet Stories." It is basically from when they just started out, a quote from the vid is a really good example of this. QUOTE - Cameraman: "Here's Nicky playing with something..." AJ: "Probably himself." As many of you know, Nick was picked on a lot when he first came into the group. This video however is UNauthorized by the Backstreet Boys and we've seen it at Music World here in Edmonton, and it's at Music Worlds in Quebec.
  • I'll Never Break Your Heart (U.S. version) has been released in Canada, fans can tune into YTV's HitList or Musique Plus to see the boyz in a very different sort of video.
  • There are some pics and an article on their video in the September issue of BB magazine. * Thanks to Maricarmen for this info.
  • The release date of their next album has been moved. We're not sure when, because at first we saw January, then we saw November, so keep an eye out for this info.
  • Their fourth home video, "Backstreet Boys All Access Video" has been released both in the USA and in Canada. It includes "Everybody" music video behind-the-scenes footage, a few music videos, including "Quit Playing Games," "As Long As You Love Me," "All I Have To Give" sneak preview (first part), "Get Down" and a few more. It's got never-before-seen concert footage, personal interviews, and a bit more. There's a CD sampler included too, but it's only got one BSB song ("Darlin'" live from Frankfurt) and the rest is just a few new groups that Jive is obviously publicizing. For anybody in the U.S. this is probably worth buying, but for Canadian fans, most of the stuff that you'll see on this vid has already been released in Canada.
  • Brian Littrell has already undergone his heart surgery, and is doing fine, resting at an undisclosed location.
  • Nick has made a whole comic book based on the Boys, and we have read that it will be on sale soon!
  • When Jane Carter (Nick's mother) was on the Yahoo Chat, someone asked why Nick never took his shirt off. She said that it was his own choice, and he doesn't take it off because he still has a bit of baby fat and is shy about it. (Isn't that cute?)

Rumors
This is our rumors section. As you can already tell from the name, these are only rumors, so please spare us by not E-mailing us with your complaints. If you want to read these, please don't take them seriously. However if you hear any news or rumors, let us know and we will post it ASAP.

  • We have heard (we're pretty sure it's true, but not definitely, so that's why it's under Rumors, not News) that the BSBs' new CD (called Millennium, NOT Backstreet Paradise, etc.) is coming out on the 18th of March. Make sure to look for it!

Okay, you guys all ready for a few really outrageous, really UNTRUE rumors? Here we go....

  • Brian is a woman.
  • Brian is dating Geri, the former Spice Girl
  • Kevin abuses Nick
  • Howie has five children from different women
  • Nick is married to five different girls

Now, for a few rumors that are a little more normal...

  • We have heard that the Boys' newly released song, "That's The Way I Like It" has a music video out. It can be seen on MuchMusic. But then again, we haven't seen it yet.
  • Howie snores.
  • Brian talks in his sleep.
  • AJ's got 101 tattoos. (Hmm, wonder why nobody's seen them before? With that many they'd kinda be hard to miss, don't you think?)
  • The girl in the black next to AJ in the "Everybody" video (who we have also heard is the famed Marissa) is his girlfriend, whose name is Maria. This Maria has been said to have slapped AJ twice, in public.
  • We have all heard about the famed Sarah Ward and her rumored on/off relationships with Nick. Well, we have info from the Backstreet Chics that he is NOT going out with her. (He has said many times that Sarah is just a FRIEND.)
  • Well, we all knew that Howie, Brian and Kev used to share an apartment together, right? Well, we've now heard that that is no longer the case. Brian is living with AJ now, Howie's back with his parents, and Kev's...somewhere, we're not quite sure.
  • The Spice Girls badmouthed the BSBs, calling them gay.
  • Okay, about the last rumor - on the Spice Girls MuchMusic Intimate and Interactive, the Spice Girls complimented the Backstreet Boys and said that they are the best boy group around. THREE CHEERS FOR THE SPICE GIRLS! (This is NOT a rumor, just a clarification.)
  • The Boys will be doing an ad for Cover Girl (no lipstick on them or anything weird like that, just a song, and some publicizing for CG)
  • AJ was wearing a hairpiece for Saturday Night Live
  • AJ failed his driver's test 4 times
  • AJ got his nose pierced
  • Howie got a belly-button ring
  • As a child, Howie wanted to be a girl
  • Nick's eyes are actually green, but he wears colored contacts
  • N' Sync has badmouthed the Backstreet Boys. (About this one - Mandy has written in to us and says it's doubtful that this one is untrue. She told us to look at what 'N Sync said about the Boys at 'N Sync's Official Page. We didn't have time to find the info she was talking about but if you want to look for it, we just know it's related to MTV.)
  • Kevin was engaged to be married to a girl who was 25, when he was 19. And she was his one true love...awwww!
  • Apparently AJ is not a virgin, and Howie lost his virginity to a girl named Jennifer, and was NOT disappointed!
  • Nick Carter is supposedly leaving the group to do some acting
  • It is said theat the Backstreet Boys will be making a movie about themselves in the near future
  • On their third album Nick and his younger bro Aaron have a duet
  • The Boys are getting together with another female artist to do a song soon. A few of the possible artists: Mariah Carey, Robyn, and Celine Dion.
  • Brian may be doing some movie-acting and it will be a comedy.
  • Nick may also be acting in movies but he'll be going into romance (I know, Frack lovers, we're worried too!)
  • Their third album will be called either "Backstreet's Paradise", "Backstreet Paradise" or "Backstreet In Paradise".
