THE SPICE Girls' new album, still untitled, is slated for release next spring. This date is one year after the first scheduled release date. They have not begun work on the new album, except for the hit, "Goodbye."

SPORTY SPICE, also referred to as Melanie Chisolm, will be releasing her first solo album in September. Her world tour begins next month. (She cut her hair!!!)

GERI HALIWELL, the ex-Ginger Spice, released her first solo single this summer. The video, in which she looks very much like a 50's star, is similar to Spice videos of yore. She still acts like a Spice Girl, but looks like a new woman. Her second single, "Mi Chico Latino," went to Number 1 in England, although she was virtually ignored in the US.

INSIDERS SAY the Girls should begin another world tour next spring. Start saving now for those glow-sticks and binoculars!
