Daniel
Daniel Paul Johns was born on April 22nd, 1979, which makes him 20 years old. Wow. I remember when they were 16. Has it been 4 years already? Anyways, he is the guitar playing vocalist of silverchair. Daniel has a dog named Sweep, whom he seems to be a little too attached to. In an interview I read, everytime the interviewer mentioned falling in love, Daniel would bring up Sweep. Hmmm... anyways. Daniel wrote rap songs before he was 12 years old cuz he couldn't play any instruments. Then he began learning guitar, and formed a band with Ben called Short Elvis. Lovely. Then they got Chris to join them, and called themselves Innocent Criminals. Not a very good name for a bunch of pre-teens. So then it was changed to silverchair, which is definately better. Then they got their big break with "Tomorrow", and now they're all rich. Not that money means everything, in Daniel's case. He recently admitted to having the eating disorder called anorexia, which is what "Ana's Song (Open Fire)" is about. I commend him for admitting it. At least he's getting help.
