The Green Mile

Wow. Wow. Wow. This movie is almost undescribably amazing. It's the story of a prison guard who falls into an unusual friendship with one of the new inmates on Death Row, otherwise known as the Green Mile. This movie has everything: superb acting, riveting storyline, and an excellent buildup towards the grande finale. Tom Hanks is wonderful in this movie as Paul Edgecomb, the guard who befriends the *very unusual* inmate John Coffey ("Like the drink... only not spelt the same...").
This movie made me laugh, made me cry, made me angry and made me feel. It had the good guy (Tom Hanks), the bad guy (Doug Hutchison playing the wonderfully awful Percy Wetmore) and the misunderstood guy (Michael Clarke Duncan). It was worth $8.50 to get in to see it, and I would pay that again to see it twice..... in fact, I have. Three times, actually. Go see this movie, you will NOT regret it....
