In 1968, sixteen-year-old Stanley Eisen was introduced to nineteen-year-old Gene Klien. The two didn't hit it off at first, but when Gene found out that Stanley could write songs, the foundation of the world's greatest rock band was born. In the summer of 1970, Gene and Stanley (who where calling themselves Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley at this point) teamed up with Steve Coronel, Brook Ostrander, and Tony Zarella to form Wicked Lester. Dissatisfied with the band, Paul and Gene left and formed KISS. The world has never been the same since.
