Chapter 3
Different Approaches to the Date
“SHUT THE FUCK UP!” Jody screamed while her two friends were getting excited.“It’s ONLY a HANSON concert”
“ONLY! YOU SAID ONLY” Kathryn yelled back getting a little pissed off.
“Didn’t you used to like Hanson, Jody” Scott’s friend Justin asked, as he entered the room.
“Shut up you fag!” Jody said in a whiny voice.
Justin laughed. He loved annoying Jody. All of Scott’s friends did.
“Jody has 5 hanson shirts” Scott told Justin knowingly.
“Kathryn has heaps more than me! ”Jody defending herself
“So?” Scott asked. “ 5 shirts are still a lot”
“Err Scott! Leave me alone” Jody whined
“What are you kids going to do today?” Jody’s and Scott’s dad asked.
“You’re not going to hang out all day at home are you?”
“Umm.. we’re planning to go to the shops or somethin” Scott told his dad.
“Oh yeah Dad I just remembered! Can I go to the Hanson Concert. I got sent 3 tickets from a pen pal so I could meet him but it’s okay with you isn’t it?” Jody asked hopefully.
“If it’s all right with you mum it’s all right with me” Their dad told Jody.
“OK now I’ll call your mother and she can take the boys to the shops and I’ll take you girls”

It’s was the night before the Hanson concert and the three girls were preparing to go.
“I can’t believe we’re gonna meet Hanson and 2_Hot_2_Handle!” Hayley said excitedly.
“Yeah Yeah!” Kathryn agreed
“I’m not THAT excited about meeting either.” Jody told the others.
“Why?” Hayley asked curiously
“2_Hot_2_Handle sounds like a real dick and Hanson...” Jody drifted off.
“Oh” Kathryn muttered.
“Oh well” Jody said “We’d better get to bed”

It was the next morning and Kathryn and Hayley were very worked up about the concert whilst Jody was thinking it was any ordinary day but decided to scream at the Hanson concert for the sake of screaming.
“I don’t know why you two love Zac so much” said Jody “Mark and Justin are way cuter than Zac! Actually all of Scott’s friends are cuter than Zac! SCOTT’S CUTER THAN ZAC DAMMIT”
“Girls I need to pick something up from the shops so I’ll drop in there and you can get something if you need it” Jody’s mum told them.

The girls were at the shops and they had half an hour.
“I need to go somewhere.” Kathryn told the others
“We’ll come with ya” Jody told her
“No! I wanna go by myself. It’s a private thing” Kathryn declared and walk off.
“Weird” Jody thought

About 10 minutes later Scott came from behind Jody.
“Why is your friend Kathryn buying condoms in Priceline?” he questioned grinning from ear to ear.
