Afterwards
“So what did you think of tonight?” Kathryn asked Jody after the date.
“It was fun! Zac seemed to like you though” Jody teased.
“Nah he wouldn’t like me” Kathryn answered clearly flattered.
“So how was your evening ladies?” Her father interrupted.
“Interesting...” Jody answered mysteriously.
“What do you mean by interesting” Scott interrupted.
“ Well it was fun and Zac seemed to like Kathryn a lot” Kathryn told him.
“Oh...” Scott replied.
“Zac didn’t like me Scott. Don’t listen to her!” Kathryn exclaimed trying to sound modest.
“Ok. Whatever you reckon.” Scott mumbled.

“ According to Hayley, ZAC HANSON, likes Kathryn!” Scott told his friend Matt the following day.
Matt laughed.
“Hi Matthew” Kathryn said in a flirty voice.
“Don’t talk to my brother’s loser friend” Jody told her.
“I can talk to whoever I like” Kathryn argued.
“Yeah let her talk to whoever she wants” Hayley stood up for her best friend.
“hahaha. two against one. I win. You lose. hahahaha” Kathryn yelled trying to put Jody down.
“Whatever” Jody muttered and walk out of the room.
“What’s her problem?” Kathryn whispered to Hayley
“I don’t know” Hayley replied
Ring Ring.
“Hellooo. McKenzie resident.” Kathryn spoke trying to sound posh.
“Oh hi. Can I please speak to Jody?” a male voice answered.
“Who should I tell her you are?” Kathryn asked.
“Tell her it’s Zac Hanson” he replied.
“JODY! Zac’s on the phone!” Kathryn yelled.

An hour later “Mum!” Jody yelled from the top of the stairs.
“ I just finished on the phone to Zac and he wants me and Kathryn to go to some tourist attractions with him and his brothers.”
Jody turned to Hayley “Sorry but you weren’t invited.”
Jody shrugged.
“OK. Jody. It’s fine with me as long as I get to talk to his mother before you leave.” Her mum called from the kitchen.
“Ok” Jody replied.
“Jody! What is this?” Scott yelled from her room.
